We had no plans for Labor Day......Lloyd was exhausted and a lot of people had left the base for the long weekend. Lloyd's DO is actually on vacation so we couldn't go far anyway. We had plans for friends for dinner then just hanging out at the house to get some house work done. While making dinner and shopping we got a phone call from Jason asking if it was okay if him and Amanda and her family could spend the night.......we were like "Of course"! To make a long story short......Amanda and her mom and dad left the next morning for Nebraska but Jason got to stay with us for a day. So we hung out, played cards, had a fire, and went to breakfast a couple of times. He was determined to get home to meet up with Bill so he left on Sunday. Have to be grateful for what we get as we were not suppose to get together until the 26Th of September.
This week is already proving to be a crazy one....with all the activities on base starting and there is a Brews and Blues festival in town on Friday followed by moose party on Saturday and another surprise of a friend arriving on Sunday for a couple of days.........the weather is beautiful out so all things are good!
