A quick drive over to Laramie yesterday to go to the quilt store. I came back over Happy Jack road hoping to see some fall colors. I guess I was about a week too late. All the birches had fallen and the Aspens are just about done. I forget the pass is another 2000 feet higher so fall comes quicker. I still found some nice browns and golds though.

Maddie said today, "I think it is going to be fall." Hard to tell when we are still hitting the high 80's!
