Well the weekend started off with a boom. We found out more people are leaving in the summer. The Korte's who have been here for 6 years leave this summer for D.C. Even though we are excited for them, everyone is very sad they are leaving. They are the glue in the loop! They sure made us feel like part of the family. We will have 6 families leaving this summer just from our little loop. In the mean time we are going to make the best of the time we have left together.
Friday night was a party at the club that I wanted to go to so bad but had bowling...so just went next door after, hung out and enjoyed a little too much wine. The Hawkins were there too so it was nice.......at about 11 the crowd from the club found there way over and we continued into the late night finally ending well after midnight talking about something we need to avoid...."Politics"! It was fun to see everyone dressed up as the Mash gang........for you young ones that is an old TV show. I think Bethany made a great hot lips and Brian was a cutie in his white wedding dress!
Saturday we had dinner with the McLaughlin's. Tara and Larry did a great job giving us steak and chicken and shrimp! Yummy......I didn't get any pictures which is a downer as their house is beautiful and it was nice to get off the base for a bit.
Today we should be all together for football! Of course here they are hoping for a Patriots win.......me don't really care but will be nice to hang out with friends.
