Another year and a successful, stressful, fun filled, with a lot of hard work,MSC fund raiser. Proceeds from this event all 100% to be given away for scholarships of dependents of military and also for local charities in the community.
It takes a lot of work, from a chair person to businesses willing to help donate to our cause to people on the base who donate and also are very creative to come up with ideas on just what will entice the people to buy. It means also making sure you have invited people to buy all the items that have been donated to the cause.
For most of us it is doing a little bit of everything from donations, to working the auctions and of course buying something.
Reasons it was a success:
1. Dedicated people who come together to organize the event.
2. Great Donations and creative people
3. Some crazy spotters to add some entertainment to the night
4. Local friends who are willing to spend their money
5. Food, Friends, and Drinks
Here are just a few pictures.......not sure how much was raised but I know there will be a lot of scholarships.....so any of you going to school....please apply for this....(last year we did not get enough applications)!
Thanks Jennifer for having everything come together.....I know there are always tense moments and disagreements and even some crazy lady going and framing a print but in the end it was all worth it.
