We were suppose to have summer temperatures this weekend.......it was okay but no summer temps hit Great Falls. The good thing was it was nice for the moose party. I think it hit about 70 degrees and the great thing was no WIND! Perfect conditions for sitting around a fire and enjoying getting together with neighbors.
Jason and Amanda also arrived on Friday night. They drove all the way from Amanda's parents house to here....it was a little over 14 hours of driving for them but they were here by 8 PM. At first they were going to leave on Sunday afternoon but they changed their minds and hung out with us instead. We went for a walk along the Rivers Edge trail, then out to dinner at Prime Cut. Back many years ago this was a place when Jason was younger he loved to eat at. Nothing has changed.......and he was quite happy.
They were out the door at 7 this morning and on their way up to Alberta. Jason is very excited and Amanda is doing well....looking forward to the new adventure but also a little nervous. We head up on Wednesday to see them for the long weekend and also check on Bawlf.......should be a good weekend.
